The Red Wing Motel was originally built in 1952 with the second story added in 1961. The native american girl that lived on the sign in the 50’s is still on the renovated retro sign to this day, her name is Red Wing. The motel was purchased in 1985 by the current owner’s Mother, Mamie. Suzie purchased the Red Wing Motel in November 2012 from her Mother before she passed. After owning two other lodging properties in Colorado, this has been the first extensive renovation process, hopefully to your delight!
